As I posted earlier in the blog, I am transferring all of my personal collection of VHS movies onto DVD, so here’s another clip from one of my classics. It’s from the 1995 released film “Talk dirty to me part 10” and stars me as a radio DJ!! …Life definatley imitating art!

I have spent the last couple of days taking my precious vhs collection and turing them into DVD’s & Mp4’s and even though I haven’t even dented the surface ( I have about 100 or so) and I am having SOOO much fun watching me in my early roles as a pornstar… especially my acting!

At some stage when I have completed transfering them all I am going to edit together a clip with some of my roles and publish it here on the blog… hopefully you will find it both amuzing and entertaining as most of you have watched me grow on on camera, the difference between then & now is AMAZING!!

Well it’s all over, StarWarsXXX finally wrapped the 1st week of June (2012), we had a few days post-production, breaking down/storing/sorting and after a few days of well earned sleep we decided to put together the whole story from start to finish in one kickass video… there was joy, laughter, tears and tantrums along the way but what a GREAT time we had, this is gonna be one HELL of a film.

So, here it is… ALL the bts StarWarsXXX pics that the production team took (and some that we borrowed) in one long slideshow/video.

Here is a bit of something I posted on one of the geek blogs…it’s informative so I figured I would share it here as well:

The filming is complete on Star Wars XXX and we are all extremely proud of the way it’s come out – especially considering the amount of time we had to put it together – less than 2 months – and the budget – which was large by most porn standards, but no where near any mainstream project.

Casting (which I had nothing to do with) was based on auditions and available talent who look similar to the original characters. I will say Tom Byron as Obi-Wan was amazing and I was also very impressed with Seth Gamble as Luke (originally this role was another performer who dropped out just before filming). Everyone brought their A-game to this project and I guarantee it won’t be anything like lame Star Wars porn spoofs in the past.

Every person who worked on this movie is a fan of Star Wars (the ORIGINAL 3) and we are all total geeks. We did everything within our power and resources to make this movie look the best we could. The script -written by Eli Cross, who Produced/Directed and won multiple awards for Upload– it is actually quite funny. It’s not slapstick or lame – there are no dick-shaped lightsabers for example – but a very cleverly written take on the original story.

In order to have the movie differ from the original we were required to make slight alterations to costuming and props, but all are recognizable to anyone who has seen the original. As for the production design aspect I have done production design on several movies, including porn sci-fi epics Upload and The 8th Day, and along with my husband Andy Appleton and our awesome set design crew, have attempted to re-create the look of Star Wars. If you follow my blog you have seen photos and clips throughout the entire process from the day we brought the pile of lumber home to build the Landspeeder to the building of every set to audition clips and behind-the-scenes footage.

Our amazing lighting crew lit our sets to look as similar to original lighting as possible (that aspect will not be seen in photos, only in final footage), we have a stellar special effects guy and Eli Cross on camera has shot in exactly the same style as the original.

I, speaking as a fan of the genre and fellow geek, am confident you will all enjoy the final product. It’s the closest anyone has ever come to doing it right.

Today I got to act out my first role in Star Wars XXX… I played Red Leader, the pilot who shot the Death Star and missed! Here’s a ‘hot of the press’ BTS clip of my scene:

Today I put on a brave face as we continued to build the final sets for Star Wars XXX, we finished off the rebel ready room, built a control panel & then put the engines on the Landspeeder & added the windscreen. PLUS we even managed to find time to start construction on the masks for the Tusken Raiders… tomorrow I am playing ‘Red Leader’ (in the X-wing cockpit we built) and am busy learning lines (“Stay on Target!”), so I this is a gonna have to be a quick blog! Just a quick note of thanks to everyone who sent positive thoughts and love for our very sick kitty Julius. He went to the neurologist today after the tests taken during his visit to the vet on Friday came back fine. It turns out he has ‘Horner’s Disease’ which is often caused by ear infections (which he had about a month ago). Its the sort of thing that nothing could have been done to prevent, however it is totally curable and they expect a full recovery in 3-4 weeks. He is on super-antibiotics and will be super kitty again soon.

We are breathing a HUGE sigh of relief.

Updated Post – May 31st:

Instead of posting a new blog I decided to just add to this one. I love the little slideshow and Andy just added a great video clip (below) that he took of Julius a few months ago.

Tonight we had to put my Kittenface to sleep. We thought he was getting better, just this morning he was meowing at us for food and treats. He had been eating quite a bit and although still a bit wobbly we thought he was gonna fight his way through. When we came home tonight he had taken a turn for the worst and started having seizures. We took him to the emergency animal clinic – everything moved so fast – and we had to let sweet Kittenface go. Heartbreaking. Completely. I can’t stop crying.

Nine years ago Julius was my Birthday present, a rescue kitten from a lady who took in pregnant unwed stray mother cats. I picked him out – or rather he picked me out – as he stood on his tiny little back legs, mrrrowling and clawing at my ankles. When he came home I started calling him Velcro, because thats the sound he made as you tore him off your leg after he walked halfway straight up it using his little razor-sharp claws…

I always called him Kittenface…and sang really badly sung Kittenface songs to him. Eventually his name changed to Julius – as in Orange Julius, the sweet fluffy orange drink. I have so many stories of  him – the way he would admire himself in the mirror (Kitten Beautiful, one of his many other nicknames), his love of yogurt, the time he fell in the swimming pool… and those oh-so-tufty paws! Juju kitty had this way of meowing while purring, making his meow sound musical. When he was happy, or wanted to really turn on the charm, he would shake his tail (Shaky Tail!) whilst singing at us.

Julius would hop up on the countertop, which was a big woodentop style and watch me cook…I would threaten to chop off those cute little bite size paws and eat them in one bite. Nom nom. When he grew weary of my paw-munching threats, he would walk away and I would make fun of his ‘pantaloons’ which is what he looked like he was wearing because his butt was so furry.

I have never seen a cat so obsessed with kneading. He would knead at you, the pilllow, the bedding….for forever. It was like it was his job to soften everything. Not only did he knead with his front paws, he would knead with the back paws as well. I have never known another cat to knead with all four feet at the same time….

When I lived downtown, he and Boo were inseperable, sleeping curled up in the cutest positions ever in the basket…

In the last year, he had really taken a shine to {my new husband} Andy. Julius followed him everywhere. Mostly because Andy spoiled him with too many treats, but Julius became his shadow…waking him every morning, pestering him for treats throughout the day and sitting on his chest at night awaiting his nightly kitty nummies.

Juju fought to get better. He really did.

Dammit, there is going to be a furry orange hole in my life.

More BTS of Star Wars XXX— >Our (Production Design) Behind-the-Scenes Video/Slideshow (+answers to many questions!?)

Obviously my life has been completely out of control lately with months of production design on Star Wars XXX and gearing up for my street art show (last night) at Maximillian Gallery (see previous post) so I have been a bit behind on the blog (hey, there is no time for sleep…hardly time for SEX, sadly, so needless to say, the BLOG is a bit down the list!) So in an effort to catch up here is a massive pile of pix from the last week on set. We have two more sets left to build – the Rebel Ready Room and the Rebel Control Room and we get to shoot the X-wing cockpit PLUS a desert day when we finally get to shoot the Landspeeder.

Last night was the opening of my first ever gallery show at the Maximillian Gallery in the Sunset Marquis Hotel. I certainly had NO idea what to expect and was floored that people were waiting outside for the gallery to open and it was completely packed for the entire night. As the night went on it was like everything was just swirling around me in a blur of excitement.

Many of my friends showed up at various times throughout the night to show their support and I was thrilled to be able to share such an amazing and magical night with them. Thank you so much to those who attended.

In addition to the art, the gallery also secured a 10 ft Gibson Guitar, part of the project where they have various artists/musicians decorate the guitar and after being displayed on Sunset Blvd is autioned off for charity. The guitar was unveiled last night, a rock-n-roll centerpiece to the street art filled gallery in THE rock-n-roll hotel. (the pix below are from the night I added my art to the guitar, unfortunately I forgot to get pix last night of the completed guitar – I will add them in a couple days)

I had 5 pieces in the gallery, each completely unique to this show, different designs than my street art. Out of those 5 pieces…3 sold last night. The words elude me. I suppose stunned, flattered, unbelievable, joy and happiness could all fit. Two pieces, Motel Star and Catoflauge sold to collectors and the third, a piece titled Bondage was bought by a fan-turned-friend, a sexy little number I met via Twitter who goes by @Trix-is-4-chics.
