While the madness of Star Wars XXX continues I have been merrily working away on new art for my FIRST ever show at the Maximillian Gallery in the Sunset Marquis…. I am SO SO excited and hope you can all either join me at the opening reception or at least make it down to the gallery before the 30th June.

My life is crazy at the minute, as head of production design on Star Wars XXX I am working roughly 16 hours a day building, repairing and running sets as part of what is turning out to be one of the best designed (& most detailed) movies I have worked on… add to that the fact that I have my FIRST art show this weekend, so I am pasting, spray and designing some new work whenever I have 2 minutes to spare… basically I am sleeping 4 hours a day.

Anyway, here’s a pictorial review of the sets/cast and crew so far.

Its been a hectic few days preparing for Star Wars XXX but we are still ahead of schedule and have completed quite a few of the sets… still to come is the Millennium falcon and the Landspeeder but we have finished the cantina, the death star control room (PLUS Leia’s cell and detention corridor) not to mention an X-wing cockpit and a ‘as near as damn it’ Tantive IV!

Anyway, the filming starts in only a few hours so I need some sleep for yet another day of Sci-Fi madness (this time with a cast of pornstars and extras!) ….enjoy the pics.

This weekend I have a fun time planned for the radio show…

On Saturday night I have my good friend Trina Michaels…I am VERY excited about this since I have hardly seen her at all in the last year since she lives in Florida. We have SO much to catch up on and great stories to tell. It should be epic fun!

After a hard day on set the other day, I went out for noodles (nom nom) and whilst walking back to the car I did a de-tour past MOCA to grab some pics of Banksy’s Steamroller… enjoy!

It’s been hectic the last few days but I am back on set and kicking ass… The Cantina bar is finished, we have LOADS more props and have even started on the Tantive IV. Filming starts next week, so we still have our work cut out but I am pleased with how it’s going so far.

Today was another day of prep before my NEW art show at the Maximilian Gallery on the 28th May,  meanwhile Andy & the gang pimped (and then battle damaged the speeder) …it’s looking amazing I must admit, I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing this film, I am so proud of the things we’ve done.
