Always With the Pussy….

Just rolled in from a night of street art…

I have to say DAMN that bastard security guard in the Art District! It’s the fucking ART DISTRICT and they have a guard to stop you from doing ART??? wtf.

I still got in a couple sidewalk cats before Santa Claus the Art District Security Guard came stalking me with his annoying light flashing on top of his shiny white truck. Then he followed us all around the Art District (thinking he was being all sneaky and sleuthlike) and then stalked us about 2 miles over to the loft district… the fucker was really harshin’ my gig.

(insert pussy jokes here)

Those of you who know me might know I have 7 cats – right now 2 (Tweek and Julius) live with Andy and I at our apartment and the other 5 are with Eli Cross downtown at the warehouse loft. Today when I was visiting I decided the kittens (yes, they are all forever kittens) needed some street art of their own. It’s only appropriate since every one of them is a rescue.

So I decorated the area by their food bowls, giving each stencil kitty a special paint job to look like each one of them.

Molly is a sweet longhaired calico, therefore she gets the muticolored paint. Willow is pure evil in the cutest little kitten suit ever so she has the devil horns. Both Molly and Willow love their pretty collars (with bling). The middle one is Bantu, he is the stray that came to the back door… sweet, big and none too bright. Basil is the one with the halo, he is the good kitty. And the final grey one is Boo. He loves everyone and everyone loves Boo. I think he is an alien in an ill-fitting kitty suit. (in fact I need to add a spaceship over the stencil of Boo.)

Tweeker and Julius are jealous so now I am going to have to make them stencils here at the apartment – don’t you think?

Sock Puppet Porn

Today on Twitter – for whatever reason – some of Derrick Pierce’s loyal followers started up a conversation about socks. Which lead to a question about socks in porn movies – I have no idea why – but that lead to Sock Puppet Porn; which there actually IS some, with Derrick Pierce in it (well, a sock playing Derrick) that I made.

Yes, I made it.  

"Upload" - the movie...

The story is, after we wrapped filming Upload for SexZ Pictures in late summer of 2007 we were all a bit loopy. We had worked our tails off for months prepping the movie, followed by the 20-day shoot. That’s a long shoot for porn! When it was over I got the crazy notion in my head that I needed to make a sock puppet version of Upload for the DVD Extras. So I did. I wrote the sock version of the story, even made some crude storyboards. For days we (me and the prop creator) worked on the various puppets, styling them after each character in the movie and attempting to capture each actor’s likeness. Then with a few friends – Aiden Starr, Eli Cross, Peter James Smith, Ren Savant – lending a helping hand, we set out to shoot what became a 12 minute version of Upload which we titled Laundry Load.

You don’t need to have seen Upload to understand the Sock Puppet version, although it might be funnier and it will make a whole lot more sense.

A few fun facts about Laundry Load:

  • All socks were over 18 years of age.
  • Those are my kitties in the opening scene of ‘the production meeting’ as well as wandering through a few other scenes.
  • The props you see are actual props from the movie Upload.
  • I voice and am the hand inside several of the characters.
  • I did the production design for Upload and for the sock puppet version as well.
  • The first ‘group’ sex scene features one of the tastiest cumshots ever.
  • There is something vaguely disturbing about sock puppet fisting.
  • The ‘orgy’ takes place in the tumble dryer at a local Laundromat. We literally ran in dropped quarters in the machine and shot the orgy as the owner was coming up behind us to throw us out (there were only three of us but the camera kind made us stand out. We ran out, hopped in the car and sped away while he was cussing us out in Spanish.
  • You can hear me starting to giggle at several points throughout the short.
  • The crew really did get two cars stuck in the sand in the desert. One was Eva Angelina’s and the other belonged to the director Eli Cross.
  • In the end credits we renamed every ‘actor’ and person from the crew – giving them each a name that was similar to the real people but somehow had to do with laundry, clothing or sewing in some way.

Funny thing is, when it came time to send the rough cut of Upload to the owner of SexZ Pictures so he could view the $350,000 masterpiece he funded, we actually sent him Laundry Load first just for a laugh.

Upload was nominated for 22 AVN Awards that year and won 8. Including Best DVD Extras. Because Sock Puppet Porn rocks!

When it rains in L.A.

Ok, so the last few days have seen rain in LA… lots of rain! So what am I supposed to do when I can’t hit the streets & I have the weekend off from Spice Radio? Practice street art at home of course! Here are a couple of things I have been working on:

Sexy New Happenings in MY World

It’s been a crazy couple days around here…working on production design Star Wars XXX, creating some new street art pieces and getting caught up in the whirlwind of press posting about DeeKay and Kylie Ireland being one and the same.

Right now Star Wars XXX is mostly still internet research and planning the construction of stuff…but that has kept us tethered to our computers…

New street art is the ‘sanity’ time…something to calm my brain when it becomes too saturated with production design – there really is a limit on how much Star Wars one can absorb after all.

Speaking of street art I do have to say I was surprised the media picked it up and ran with it as they did. I was a bit overwhelmed yesterday by all the press. To me the two entities are very separate – DeeKay and Kylie – yes, I know, I am a very typical Gemini personality… but a big thank you to all the sites – adult and mainstream – who covered the story: Laist, ZZ Insider, Luke Is Back, Pornstars After Hours , Adult FYI  , Red Blooded Thing , GTXXXtreme.com and xBiz.
